Workshop Painted Silk Patchwork 

Transform your denim jacket into wearable art

In the mood for a day full of color, craftmanship, and creativity? In this exclusive workshop (maximum 3 participants), you will transform your own denim jacket into a unique artwork with hand-painted silk. An intimate, inspiring day where you learn new techniques and go home with a personal statement piece.

What will we do?

We start by discovering the centuries-old technique of silk painting. You will practice drawing with serti, silk paint, and silk, so you get a feel for the materials. Then we dive into the real work: your denim jacket.

Step by step you will:

• loosen the lining
• cut fabric
• create a design
• draw and paint on silk
• fix it in a pan
• wash and iron
• assemble the back on the sewing machine
• continue sewing by hand
• and for those who want and have extra time: further decorate with patches and additional details

You work at your own pace, with personal guidance and plenty of room for experimentation and fun.

• Tijd: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Costs: € 275,-, including: location, materials (such as: silk, silk dye, serti), use of equipement, coffee/tea and lunch; excluding denim jacket (bring your own)
• Group size: maximum 3 participants - lots of attention, lots of space, lots of creativity.
