Politics

I made this painting based on a photo I bought in a French vintage shop. The photo depicted a soldier. She looked combative, but I also felt a great anger and a great sadness when I looked at the photo. The photo evoked in me the feeling that in politics decisions are made about waging war and it is others who have to fight this war.
